It’s been a while since I heard such a warm, soulful and jazzy sound that was concocted so close to where I’m from. The one responsible for this music is Moiano from Belgium (Gent to be precise) and let me tell you…this is real music right here. His new album “2nd Line” (On The Moon records) sounds very authentic and is full of lovely Wurlitzer & Rhodes sounds. The first single is titled “Ethiopics” and my personal favorite track on the album is “Heartbreak”. I’m not gonna go into details too much here, but true connoisseurs will know what the deal is and no doubt they’re going to make this album part of their collection. Ofcourse Belgium’s finest Lefto was the one who tipped us off. Bang distribution is responsible for the distribution so expect to find it in your local record shop or on iTunes real soon.

Fashionably late we bring you the sexy, curly haired, soul mistress Ayah. This singer/songwriter/composer will be dropping a new album next month entitled “4:15″. Slakah The Beatchild represents the evolution of the enigmatic producer. Five years ago the urban landscape was ruled by the super production gods. Now Benny B.Blonco has been on our radar for a long time, but strangly we never got in contact with this cat from the rotten apple. Benny specializes in rough, electronic 8bit beats and is one to watch! I recently got two dope Tee’s in the mail thanks Matt from Finale Design and let me tell you they’re ill! The design consists out of twelve hiphop icons each with their unique hair-style. For example we see Questlove, Craig Mack, Busta Rhymes, Mc Shan and Big Daddy Kane in full splendour. Had to inform ya’ll know about this hiphop-minded brand from Canada, cuz we think they have some mighty fresh design.
