Gonna push this one so hard even if I have to hand out copies to all the best local DJ’s myself. You all know Mark Pritchard and the genius producer they call Om’Mas Keith (from SA-RA Creative Partners). These two gentleman recorded “Wind It Up” at Red Bull Music Academy’s A Class Of Its Own in cologne 2007. Mike confirmed it will be released as a 12inch on Hyperdub records and allthough the audio quality isn’t that high this stream does keep you on point for the official release which we are all going to buy off course. Not sure about the release date, but probably July-ish. The release will have a Freak Mix and instrumental version on it so you know what it is son.

I can hardly remember the last time I heard a new soul track like this. Seems like the soul has died a bit if you look at how few releases are being released nowadays. Last year - former Silhouette Brown singer - Deborah Jordan appeared on Rep Life‘s “Elevation” and it was undoubtably time to return the favor on “Home”. Great to hear these two at it again on Deborah’s new 7inch “Nothing Lasts” with on “Home” on the b-side. Check out both the 7inch aw well as the remix 12inch on Futuristica records HERE.
