Shlohmo‘s free online a release just got pimped the f*ck up by FoF Music and is now officially out as a digital release under the name “Shlomoshun Deluxe”. To really bring home the ‘Friends of Friends’ theme on this release, Shlohmo has invited Low Limit (of Lazer Sword), Fulgenace (Musique Large), Tokimonsta (Brainfeeder) and devonwho (Klipmode) to handle remix duties, acting as a brief showcase for Shlohmo and some of his people. REPOST: No doubt you might’ve read about Georgia Anne Muldrow releasing her “King’s Ballad” album Februari 2010 on Ubiquity. Left to her own devices on Kings Ballad, she has come up with what her partner (MC and producer Dudley Perkins) describes as her most ‘pop’ record to date. Last summer I was introduced to L.A.-based JimiJames with her sexy sounds. I really liked her 2nd “So Janky” album and I still have to check out her debut album soon. Her style is best described as poppy combined with some soulfulness, R&B and Hip Hop (or as she describes it ‘Grittipop’). She reminds me a bit of J*DaVeY, but just on a couple of tracks. She’s did the vocals on Hawthorne Headhunters‘ “She Wanna” and performs with Master Blazter from time to time (HVW8 up in this one). Kinda late pass I know, but I wanted to introduce this foxy lady anyway before she truly blows up. Really feeling “Bitchin’” produced by Karriem Riggins and “Already Done” is also quite nice.
