Now when you think of heavy Beats, you might think of L.A. and not automatically of Japan. But do not be mistaken! Sauce81, RLP and Kez YM thought the time was ripe for up and coming artists/producers/musicians based in Japan to get some worldwide recognition. Under the name of “Cosmopolyphonic” they are releasing a compilation album dedicated to the next generation beat makers from Japan as well as worldwide. It contains music from several RBMA alumni and Bass Camp people such as TOKiMONSTA, Pursuit Grooves, RLP, Kez YM,Daisuke Tanabe, Onra, mfp, Sarah Linhares, May Roosevelt, MONKEY_sequence.19, Super Smoky Soul, Pepin, Kan Sano and many more. The project is coming out on Art Union’s sub label Listen Up, was compiled by both sauce81 & Listen Up and is out now. Get it digitally via

My peoples BudaMunky is definitely one of the dopest heads in the beat scene. This Cosmo joint seem to have some headnod ish just judging from the 2 tracks displayed esp that Element of Notice (straight heat). Luvin how you Moovmnt kats be havin that stash of pure vibrations. Keep doing what you do and thanks for always givin me something to look forward to while I am at work and when I get home. Ya the first site I check for when I log on to the pc, straight up.

Was havin a convo with a kat last nite about good music and he showed off his Ipod, he had a couple of kats from the DAM in there but specifically asked me was I on to the FG and FS, why course I replied. A little background info, we 30 and up and still recognize what the real is, ya holdin it down out there, seriously. Ya make me wish I could venture back out there on a musical musician versus the green this time;))
