A while ago we met up with Zed “Maddslinky” Bias at the Sound Gallery in Amsterdam. He was so kind to do a one hour mix for our Moovmnt Radio show filled with exclusives and sneak previews. If you like that UK Funky/Broken/Garage/Dubstep/Wonkey sound you’re in for a proper treat! Dave drops some fingerlickin’ tunes and we invite you to take a listen. Oh and for you Dutchies…this Friday Maddslinky will be playing at Rampage in Paradiso (Amsterdam).

Yesterday Miss Baby Sol released her debut EP called “Before I Begin” independently. In my ears this lovely album has two sides to it. One being the harmonic soulful side as heard on jams like “Sitting” and “Tick Tock” and on the other side we hear a more poppy reggae influenced vibe. One could call this a very satisfying album, because I’m sure anyone could find a tune on here they could fall in love with. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…the UK has loads and loads of talented vocalists. You might want to pick up a copy for the misses or yourself HERE. At this moment only available on CD, but perhaps digitally as well on a later note?

Slakah‘s “Something Forever” was one of those EP’s that a lot of people slept last year. Here’s a second chance to get it right, because BBE is releasing a special edition of the Beatchild’s CD. It contains four bonus tracks of which two were available for free earlier last year. To our knowledge ‘The Cure” was previously unreleased though. Enjoy and be sure to pick up a physical copy HERE Jan. 24th.

After TiRon put out an accapella version of last year’s MSTRD a few days ago, it was producer extraordinair Half Amazin’ from Connecticut to drop “MSTRD.5″. A whole different take on the orignal version, but I kinda like the way this came out. Download the entire album HERE and thanks to 2dopeboyz.

This is the first in a series of collaborative 12′s and this project by All City goes by the name of ‘All City Collabs’. This will span a variety of tempos, frequencies and genres. For the first out of the series Martyn (3024) and Mike Slott (LuckyMe) team up and kick off. The result is a two track 12″ containing “All Night” (which sounds more like Martyn) backed with the even sicker “Pointing Fingers” (which sounds more like Mike). The results are crazy nice and I know you’re all going to digg this a lot! For this series artwork comes from the creative brain of Steve Serrato (Mochilla/Poobah). Pre-order now at Rush Hour or get it at your local record shop/online retailers on Jan. 24th on All City.

Came across this beast of a Dza remix earlier by Dizz1, but when I saw Dave had uploaded the instrumental version to his Soundcloud I was like lets post this joint. Personally I wasn’t feeling the vocal version from featuring Non & Mujuice, but the instrumental kinda hit the “Bullseye”. Available via Bullseye - Bullseye (feat. Non & Mujuice) - EP so act accordingly.

She also dropped another nice song “Outlines” produced by Trees. I’m going to ask I just asked miss Seinabo if she’d like to share these, but in the meantime it’s stream only as you see free download for ya’ll…enjoy!

Last week we got an email from a frequent visitor who goes by the name of Rckmo. Together with two other producers he recently released this “Toast” EP under the collective name The Hookup. At first I wasn’t really feeling this EP, because in all honestly…Mike Rockmore was the only one that got my head nodding. Nev and me concluded that this was worth a post after all eventhough the release as a whole is mediocre at best. Rckmo’s beats (especially “To Whom It May Concern”) won us over. Perhaps it’s because his style of producing comes the closest to our personal taste. Some of you might digg this, some of you won’t. We’d love to hear your honest opinion about this Dutch beat collective and big ups to our colleagues over at Puna for hosting this DOWNLOAD.

Right at the end of the year this one sneaky gem almost slipped past me, but I got it. Stockholm’s 35bag released their self titled album containing this one crazy nice jam featuring Moovmnt’s “Ones To Watch in 2011″ very own 1-O.A.K. My advise is head over to 35Bag - 35bag and pick yourself up this one joint…it’s sounds very refreshing!
