DJ Rahdu and the BamaLoveSoul collective have been decreasing your harddrive space since 2008. With their latest “On Deck” 2 compilation they manage to give twelve upcoming artists, such as Rippy Austin, James Tillman, GDNA, Humus, JFinesse and Buscrates, a platform to be heard. Soulful is the keyword on this compilation released via BBE and I think they did a great job. Fresh selection with some raw elements!

Now we believe that Snoop Dogg needs no introducting. His Snoopzilla alias was brought to life when he decided to work together with Dam-Funk on the funk-flavored project “7 Days of Funk”. After they met at the SXSW music festival in 2011, they began a 7 day funky ride which includes guest features from Kurupt, Steve Arrington and Bootsy Collins.
