Andrew Ashong hailing from Forest Hill by way of Ghana, has just released his highly anticipated “Flowers” EP on Sound Signature. With Theo Parrish on additional production this might be one of the essential 12-inches this year. Thanks to Samira and Ruby for the heads up.

This time around I’ve got something from baaaaaack in the day for you. Slept on by quite some heads I reckon, but for me this was one of those joints! Remember Inverse Cinematics from Germany with “B One” which came out via Tokyo Dawn Records around 2004? It had that Vikter Duplaix vibe going on and was released only digitally if memory serves me right. Enjoy this free Lo-Fi lust on your Sunday.

Crazy raw, yet oh so soulful synth-drenched House music that will hurt your neck. The single “Dusk” is out on Wild Oates and features Jon Dixon on keys. This release is available on vinyl only so make sure you grab a copy over at Rush Hour or your local record shop.

I remember we almost slept on Alton Miller‘s “Light Years Away” album a few years back. Now this fine piece of work gets ample play over at the crib though. Back then we posted two amazing songs, but for some reason not “Come On Over” (which in my opinion is one of those songs that should be heard as well). Tell me this isn’t the perfect ‘nothing-to-do’ music for on a Slept on Sundays such as this one. For everyone who still haven’t bought this one, please visit and give it a proper listen. One of Rome’s funkiest bastards I’ve ever met is without a doubt AD Bourke. Adam’s been venturing more and more into the soulful depths of House music, but always with a dash of Funk. His new “Raw Ivy” release was marinating on my HD for a few weeks, but I think it released yesterday. I can only begin to descibe this mini LP as freakin’ awesome, but please don’t take my word and listen to all six tracks on Bleep before you purchase!

Thank god we always have these Slept on Sundays to bring it back, re-discover and bump to “Razz 09” in this particular case. No method to my madness…just straight random picks. Team Moovmnt is filled with joy that summer has started. Now DVA must have had the same feeling when he decided earlier today to let loose “In The Sunshine” featuring Isabelle Bentink. This cut didn’t make it on to the “Pretty Ugly” album, so ‘it’s a demo’ (no EPMD).

Long before Moovmnt even existed there was plenty of good music to go around. One of these wonderful songs was sent our way by Mr. Sousa from Rotterdam earlier this week. To be honest I had never heard of House of 909, but after having heard “The Blandford Superfly” I’m glad I now have. Right here we have a beautiful mix of soulful House, Jazz and Funk which you will undoubtably love! The single is availble on in case you were wondering.
