Most of you will remember Julien Dyne from his “Pins and Digits” EP from last year. Right before Christmas Julien is releasing his brand new “Glimpse” album on Wonderful Noise. We wrote a little something about the single several months ago in case you forgot. While Wonder Noise is taking care of the Asian side of business, BBE will be suplying the rest of the world. Rest assure there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get your grubby little hands on this release. This will be coming out on CD and digitally. A limited vinyl album sampler EP will drop somewhere in February via WN as well so keep your ear out! For now you can visit Glimpse - Julien Dyne Japan and cop digitally.

I remember a few years ago I heard this RoddyRod song and eversince it has been labeled as ‘untitled’ on my HD. I knew Finale and Muhsinah where on there, but now I finally know the title of this track…“Keep Transit”. Low Budget Crew member RoddyRod is releasing his “Oakwood Grain II” album next year on Nature Sounds in physical form while it’s already available in digital form as of today on Oakwood Grain II - Roddy Rod as well as on Bandcamp. An oldie, but goodie made available for free download by the homie Kenny from FRSH SLCTS.

Any of you wondering what to do with NYE? Well I’ve got an idea where my homies in Frisco are going to be gettin’ down. Opolopo & Amalia are going to be playing at the SOM bar at the legendary Sweater Funk party. Really wish I could be there, but not gonna happen. Good news is that Opo and miss Amalia made a song called “Sweater Funk” especially for the occasion. Even better news is that it’s available as a free download on Opolopo’s Soundcloud page. Get yourself a ticket if you plan on going or just snatch that download!

Our inbox was blessed by some soulful music from Diggs Duke who released his debut “Gravity” EP last week via bandcamp. My first thought was ‘where the heck has this guy been hiding’, but I soon realized it was in Maine. I’m sure we’re gonna be posting a lot more of his music in 2012! Good news…the first 200 downloaders can download this one for free by filling in a $0 price or you can also put down any other price you seem fit to support future projects. Diggs will be releasing another EP in a few months and is hoping to get a full-length album out there as well in the future (which I am sure he will be doing on some fortunate independent label). This is the perfect way to start you Monday..and a free download on our Soundcloud page especially for the people who missed out on Bandcamp!

Astronote has been delivering top notch quality productions for many years and eventho we’re really late with this one we do want to share his latest “Weapon Of The Future” album in case you’ve missed it. Downloaded the album last week, but never got around to listening to it. I must say I quite enjoy some of these cuts featuring Edo G, Buff1, Dynas, Rasco and T Calmese. Take a listen for yourself and let us know what you think.

Wow! Where has this guy Brandon Coleman been all my life? Here’s this incredible musician from Culver City California who released his “Self-Taught” album last month. Between that release and the music on his Myspace I declare the man a musical genius! Hoping to hear more of this guy in the future, because this is what music is all about. Don’t hesitate and grab yourself some Brandon Coleman music via iTunes..

Hailing from Los Angeles, KING, is an organic trio of young women. Paris, Amber and Anita met by chance in Boston and were destined to make music together. Their debut project is called “The Story” EP and sounds a bit like a modern-day fairytale. The EP dropped today so get it via The Story - Single - KING if you dig.

Our man Ta-Ku hit us up with a little exclusive for you guys. A few weeks ago he did an instrumental edit of a tune that’s making it’s way through the pop charts at the moment. Unlike that version, Ta-Ku’s version features the vocals of none other than Miles Bonny who compliments the beat nicely and turns it into some “Down To Earth Club Music”.

One of the first exclusive premieres and available as a free download below.

Mono/Poly’s new “Manifestations” EP is his debut on Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label. The EP is a very diverse collection of powerfull rhythms and innovative sound design. If you slept on Mono/Poly before hearing this you can catch up with Front2Blaq’s BeatScientist Mono/Poly Busy Mix. You can find a low-bitrate stream of “Needs Deodorant” below. The Mono/Poly Manifestations EP will be out April 4th.

Last year I received a promo copy of Freddie Cruger & Anthony Mills (Wildcookie) their “Cookie Dough” album to be released on Tru Thoughts February 22nd. I heard my favourite song of the album again today and thought why not share a low bitrate stream with you guys. It’s quite addictive and therefore suitably entitled “Heroine”.
