A little late, but still on within the realms of reason we bring you Moovmnt Radio Show #09.
Unfortunately Studio 80 Radio is having problems and they are unable to tell us how long this is going to take. We went out of our way to record the show for you, but not commentary again. Perhaps we should move to another station…got any ideas?
As usual the first half hour consists of Soul & Jazz goodies, but it doesn’t take long for us to get into some spanking new music. Any form of support is highly appreciated. Don’t be scared to repost, like or comment!
What a mess this month. For some reason our show was simply not recorded, so all those hours were waisted one might say.
Thankfully we always back our stuff up and with a little re-recording, we managed to get you the full two hours of music. Unfortunately you will not be able to enjoy our regular banter, but we promise to spoil you extra next time. Had a lot of fun putting this show together and it features music from the deepest parts of my soul.
The first 25 minutes contains some Soul & Jazz oldies straight from my personal record collection. Further more you will find something new, something old and even some exclusive unreleased gems in Moovmnt Radio show #8. Oh in case you hadn’t noticed yet, we only upload our shows to Mixcloud from now on.
Last Thursday we recorded Moovmnt Radio show #7 at Studio 80 Radio in Amsterdam. Had to fly solo on this one, so you’ll get almost two hours of me talking to myself.
We experienced a few minor technical difficulties, so the show is a little under two hours. I had a few Roy Ayers jams lined up, but had to leave some out. Hours before the show we visited an inspiring lecture with the vibe legend, made possible by the Red Bull Music Academy.
Catch our show every last Saturday of the month know that any type of support is highly appreciated. Enjoy!
We had to start our show a few minutes later then planned, because of not being able to get into the studio. Fortunately we got everything ready on time, but we had to cut the last track short.
Big up to my, not s0 charming co-host Deluge, for providing some proper covert art for Moovmnt Radio Show 06. In case you missed out on our previous shows, please find them all here. We had a blast recording almost two hours of radio at Studio 80 Radio. We hope you’ll have as much fun listening to Moovmnt Radio Show 06, as we had recording it. Next month we’ll be back on the last Saturday of the month, so tune in once again!
Welcome to Moovmnt Radio show #5 everyone! Again we had lots of fun recording this show at Studio 80 Radio in Amsterdam. We started the show off with some vinyl records and eased into some Future R&B and Beats as the show progressed. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone, so we’re pretty sure you will all love two hours of the best in contemporary soulfelt music.
We hope you’ll have as much fun listening to this as we had recording it. See you guys June 27th between 5 and 7pm (GMT+1) and every bit of support is highly appreciated.
So here’s the fourth installment of Moovmnt Radio show number four recorded recorded at Studio 80 Radio in Amsterdam. Unfortunately our dear friend B. Bravo is flying in today otherwise we would’ve had him on our show as special guest. This time it was just Deluge and me.
Please kick back and enjoy two hours of the best in contemporary soulfelt music. We hope you’ll have as much fun listening to this as we had recording it. See you guys May30th between 5 and 7pm (GMT+1). Any form of support is highly appreciated. Don’t be scared to repost, like or comment and find the tracklist after the jump.
Yes I pre-recorded this one at home, because I know I was not going to be able to make any sense. LA-NO’s party (Pop Ya Collar) was off the hook and hit the bottle hard. It gave us a chance to have some heartfelt conversations and even the homies Blue and Michiel from Shourai stopped by. Big up the Deluge, Sherisa and lil’ Seji for coming through and being true friends.
We played some exclusive cuts from Dizz1, Jordan Rakei and Tetsuro Fujimoto and lots more incredible new music. This show was basically about hanging out, talking music and having fun. Forgive us for not delivering the usual witty comments, you might have grown accustomed to. We promise to guide you through our next musical journey in April. Hope you’ll have as much fun listening to this as we had recording it.
Even though we had some minor difficulties at first, we managed to create two hours of special for you guys and girls. The first hour is my selection of personal favorites ranging from BJ The Chicago Kid, Idesia, Queen Magic, ESKA, Tuxedo, Farnell Newton, Earl Sweatshirt, Moods & SIAM, James Chatburn & Jordan Rakei, Flako, Frits Wentink, Henry Wu and many more.
In the second hour our good friend Blue goes deep like the mind of Minolta. Enjoy music from JR Jârris, Masego, Abhi//Dijon, Obey City, Jengi Beats, Tynethys, Gravez, Jarreau Vandal, Elhae, Midas Hutch, Shay Lia, T.a.y.l.o.r., Amin Payne, Jasper Staal, Alexander Lewis and many others.
Next show will be a blast, since it’s my birthday and I’m inviting a few friends over to celebrate on the show!
We thought we’d start with a clean slate…hence show #01. Give us a few more shows to really get back into the flow. We missed a queque here, talked too much there, but we are loving every minute of it. It was so much fun and we can’t wait until the next show. Kick back and enjoy two hours of that good stuff.
