Zo!‘s sophomore album entitled, “ManMade”, is finally here. As a part of the Foreign Exchange music family, he works closely together with Phonte, Sy Smith and Choklate on this release. Other featuring artists are Anthony David, Eric Roberson, 1-O.A.K, and miss Carlitta Durand. The album may sound a bit tradional at times, but all in all I think the title song and “We Are On The Move” make it well worth your while. Be sure to pick this up at the FE shop…if you decide to cop.

A while back I asked B. Bravo if he was down to make a Moovmnt guest mix. We tried to upload it, but Soundcloud did not allow us. So we gave it a second shot with a slightly revised mix. Enjoy Adam’s selection of nu skool R&B as he likes to call it and share with you and yours. And again…another nice piece of artwork from the homey Duktus!

Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer Zo! is teasing us with a sampler for his upcoming album “Manmade”. Now this will sure get some grown women’s panties wet cause the release will be three weeks from now on May 21st on FE+ Music.

You guys might remember Philip Owusu from his collaboration project with Robin Hannibal. A lot of you were probably wondering what happened to Owusu, but the producer from Denmark is back! He released his latest single entitled, “Goodnight”, earlier today for $1 via Bandcamp. Which is the first song of his upcoming solo album “SUBS” coming out shortly. Thanks to our friends over at Okayplayer you can now read a very nice interview with Owusu.

End of the month and we are droppin’ another Moovmnt Guest Mix! This time it’s a Birmingham-based DJ who goes by the name of Jayson Wynters from SOULfisticated. He is most comfortable in Neo Soul and Soulful sounding R&B music with a dash of soulful house. We thought Mr Wynters would be a perfect fit for our Moovmnt Guest Mix 02, but by all means you guys be the judge yourselves. Again we’d like to give thanks to Duktus for hooking us up with some great artwork. Snatch up a free download if you like.

Now I’m massively late with the latest “Fly” EP from Seattle-based soul singer Choklate. Had this lying around for a while, but somehow forgot to share this with you all last month. Really lovin’ the smooth vibe of “The Stand” Pt. 1 featuring Musiq Soulchild, but I suggest you give the whole EP a listen on Fly - EP - Choklate.

Continuing the momentum of the “O.B.E” Vol.1 project, producer/drummer Breezy Lovejoy has just released his “Lovejoy” album. This new album features Tiron, Ayomari and SA-RA Creative Partner’s Master Teacher Shafiq Husayn. Our 2 favorite tracks were produced by a talented new producer named Keith Phelps. Breezy’s Lovejoy album is available for $10 on Bandcamp.

Haven’t been listening to a whole lot of music lately, but when I listened to this Toi Horn song on miss Kronika’s Soundcloud, I was feeling it. Never heard about this DC-native producer/vocalist/songwriter before, but it turns out she released “Let It Happen” back in 2008. I thought I’d squeeze this in as a Slept on Sundays song…so kick back and enjoy!

Now I’m sure a bunch of you know about Floetry and how the duo split up. Marsha Ambrosius was seen often, but some might have been wondering whatever happened to Natalie ‘The Floacist’ Stewart. She bided her time till the right moment was there to open up her “Soul” again. Really looking forward to her second solo album, so let’s pray that’s it’ll be out soon. [Spotted over at BLS]

Okay let me be frank. I had never heard of The Tony Rich Project before and was told this was some classic nineties ish by a certain little munchkin. Turns out old Tony wrote hits for Boyz II Men, TLC & Toni Braxton (which I never knew). I did however manage to get some new snippets of the upcoming “Speak Me” album which is due to release on Hidden Beach soon. I was kinda in the mood for some sultry R&B, so enjoy these previews with me.
