Ann Arbor’s Gameboi is only 15 years old and already the kid has an EP out produced by Astronote and 14KT. His debut release “Freshman of the Year” EP features Rapper Big Pooh and L05 and is fresh if you ask me. Especially when you think about where this cat might be going in the next few years. Between 2008 and 2011 14KT made a bunch of beats. His “14KillaTape” is full of beat battle minded beats as well as other types of beats. French hiphop producer Astronote has been making quite some noise these past few years. I remember his remix for Mayer Hawthorne, which was later included on the album and eversince I’ve been hearing banging beats here and there. Yesterday they dropped “Astromix” which includes a bunch of free downloads. Mostly original productions for Invincible, Marv Won, Ro Spit, LMNO, Magestik Legend, King Magnetic and Shawn Jackson. French animation artist Cedric Berthier heard Now On‘s “All You Ever Knew” from their album “Tomorrow Already” and was instantly inspired to create this video. Buff1 has decided he won’t be leaving 2009 without releasing something for the people. He’s currently finalizing details to release a project, “It’s a 1derful Life”, on December 2nd. The project will feature many of his most coveted guest appearances as well as new and unreleased music. “The Best Are Full of Love” was originally recorded by Shawn Jackson for the “The New Classics” mixtape, but didn’t make the it onto the tape. A sick Cook Classics production with new verses from Buff and Diz Gibran make this a sick first release from Buff1’s upcoming project. Thanks to A-Side Worldwide and 2dopeboyz.
