Robin’s Dirty Secret:

Scandinavian wonder produced, Robin Hannibal, has not only been working miracles on the Boom Clap Bachelors‘ “Mellem Dine Læber” release, but also on Szjerdene‘s single “Lead The Way” on Plug Research. Robin’s little secret is out. He and his girlfriend Louie from LA made a song together entitled “Dirty Secrets”. Produced by Robin of course in the style that we’ve gotten so familiar with, but this time with some Louie sprinkled all over it instead of some Coco (Quadron). I kinda like Allison’s vocals and honestly can’t hate on Robin’s production skills either. So better I suggest you guys groove to this soulful electronic indie pop joint.

Last week I had to give the guys from Tokyo Dawn Records some due props. I had not always been very impressed with their label, but in the last few years they’ve honestly become one of my favorite independent labels. AFTA-1 did it again. For GAS’D he put together a mix full of ▲❍▼❏ and you’re a fool if you don’t download this beautiful collection of moments right now. Nice to see that unreleased Muhsinah track produced by Flying Lotus on “Love Is Real Vol. 4: Vessels Behind A Moment”. We simply love the first draft of “7th Sun”, which is sounding off the chain! I heard we can expect more melodic goodness from AFTA-1 soon..

The months following the release of Love is Real Vol. 3 have again affirmed everything that GAS’D, myself and everyone else in the universe living for Love, truly believe in. We are all vessels,  placed on this planet to create.  Blessed with the freedom to choose our medium, true fulfillment lies in carrying out our calling to its fullest extent. Which is ultimately done, one moment at a time. One Now at a time.

We must choose to act in the present without  limiting ourselves by the thought of tomorrow. Give our today our everything. Create at our peak for the only time that matters, NOW. Fulfilling our divine calling while fulfilling our life through love.

This is a collection of moments. Every one of these tracks has been the soundtrack to my life in many key moments throughout my journey. Including very recent ones. As this mix itself was created in a moment. One sleep-free night, three days ago while simultaneously finalizing it’s closing track. “7^th Sun,” a rough draft of the most recent work for my upcoming album. So it’s only right that we also drop this mix at a moment’s notice.
