TAKE (aka Sweatson Klank) continues to push the boundaries of the experimental beat music in new directions. Building on a multitude of successful EP and full-length releases, TAKE has unleashed a slew of new works, DJ mixes and remixes in 2009 and we’re not even half-way through the year yet!  Co-founder of the legendary beat showcase night  “Sketchbook”, he has been an influential figure in the LA beat scene since day one. 2009 is the year he steps out from the shadows clutching fresh material for the All City, Poobah and Dublab labels and shiny new remixes for the likes of Warp’s Flying Lotus. His music is an epic journey, leading the listener down dust covered roads of bit-crushed melodies and molested jazz samples, all hemmed in by walls of bass.
