We’ve been hearing loads of new music from Olivier DaySoul lately…which is a good thing. He remains one ot those cats that in our opinion deserves to blow up. To end 2010 with a bang and satisfy our hunger, he decided to bless us with a new freebie called “Finer Things In Life” produced by Eric Lau.

Fat City is back once again with the second full lenght album in the Producer series, entitled “Producer 2″. This album includes exclusive beats from big names such as: Dabrye, Harmonic 313, Martyn and Daedelus as well as rising Cali producers such as Devonwho, MrDibiase, Low limit and Mono/poly. From the UK we have my man Illum Sphere, Mike Slott & Tandy Love who bring the ruckus. All in all a good collection of electronic beats with some heavy hitters on it. The tracklist can be found after the jump and the CD can be bought at Rush Hour.

The long awaited Eric Lau“Kilawatt: V2″ is finally out!! After his debut album “New Territories” came out we were amazed by it’s sheer dopeness. Now we hadn’t heard Muhsinah sing like this in quite a while and always a pleasure to see genius artists like Kaidi Tatham and Oddisee on a release like this. If you don’t believe in buying music please hold up for a second, because if you look at the value for money on this baby it’s not to be fucked with. For only a measly few dollars you’ll have that stupendously, insane shit pumpin’ through your speakers. Visit for that digital crack or check for that CD via Rush Hour.

Woke up and found this goodie from my man Mark de Clive-Lowe in my mailbox. You may know Rahel from her work with Eric Lau or Dudley Perkins & Georgia Anne Muldrow and Mark de Clive-Lowe surely needs no introduction anymore. The two have been working together on some tunes and decided to put “Hope” up for FREE DOWNLOAD at Mashi’s Bandcamp page. Enjoy!

Finally a new release from Eric Lau named “Kilawatt: V2″. This is something I’ve anxiously been waiting for. His debut album “New Territories” came out almost two years ago and was undoubtably one of the most slept on albums of it’s time. Again Eric seems to amaze the sh*t out of my by dropping four preview tracks via his Bandcamp. Now usually I’m not used to loving every single track, but these four joints sound extremely promising! Haven’t heard Muhsinah sing like this in a while and Kaidi rips the shit out of this track. The track with Oddisee is also heavy as f*ck and reminds me of some good old Little Brother ish. In other words…better save up for Kilawatt: V2 cuz this is going to be one of those album you gotta have.
