You might have noticed that all of us here at Moovmnt HQ are really excited about Robert Glasper Experiment‘s upcoming “Black Radio” album. Another year has passed us by again. For the thrird time we’re gonna end the year with our very own ‘Best of 2011′. Badu On Which Producer To Work With:This year’s Red Bull Music Academy is in full effect again. Participants such as Full Crate and Salva are probably having the time of their lives as we speak in Madrid. Yesterday miss Erykah Badu was a guest at the academy and gave a lecture. Seriously though. Manga is well known here in Amsterdam for his ‘Legends’ party that he’s been doing together with Supreme Cuisine in the Paradiso for some time now. This is what everybody’s been waiting for all year. Sexy soulstress Erykah Badu is back with a brand new album entitled “New Amerykah pt. 2: Return of the Ankh” and it’s hella good. She really got us worried when that joint with Lil Wayne leaked, but thank god that isn’t on the album. When “Window Seat” leaked I knew this was going to be like old times. Probably the best Nu-Soul album I’ve heard in a while and even if she did cover Sylvia Striplin‘s “You Can’t Turn Me Away”…it’s all good. Miss Erykah can get away with stuff like that, because she drops songs like “Love” and “Fall In Love” on Return of the Ankh. Been a long time since I’ve bought an album, but this is a birthday present I wouldn’t mind getting. Is there anyone who’s still looking to buy me a gift? It was my birthday yesterday and I am quite a nice guy. I suggest you start supporting wonderful music like this and BUY yourself a copy whether it be on CD, vinyl or Erykah Badu – Love
