Now this came rather unexpected..Blu & Exile quietly dropped the follow up to their 2007 release “Below The Heavens“. The new album called “Give Me My Flowers While I Can Smell Them“ was recorded back in 2009. Though the project is unmastered/unmixed it might be worth $15 to some. So get that now via Bandcamp.

We last heard from Tanya Morgan on 2010′s “The Sandwich Shop”, which featured them over the infamous The Roots’ “Sandwiches”. In the meantime Ilyas has officially left the group in order to pursue other things, so Von Pea & Donwill decided it was time for a re-introduction. The new EP “You & What Army” features 9 tracks with the bulk of the production handled by Von Pea alongside fellow Lessondary member Aeon, Astronote and Exile. Guest appearances come from Lessondary members Che Grand and Jermiside as well as a special appearance by Exile on the aforementioned Exile-produced track “Together”. You can grab the EP for FREE or choose to support the guys by getting it in combination with a limited edition t-shirt at Tanya Morgan‘s Bandcamp. LRG Clothing and Dirty Science team up and present Exile’s “Intro To The Outro” mixtape which contains only music produced by him and was mixed by himself as well. Co$$‘ new album, “Before I Awoke”, was highly anticipated by the whole Moovmnt gang. Now that it finally dropped, I can say I’m just a little disappointed. Perhaps I was expecting a lot, but in the end only felt like I got a little. Certainly not a bad album, but it does sound kinda dated to me at times. Best productions are from Chief and Fonetik, but I also like “Pot Ash” by Exile and “Burn It Down” by Cook Classics. Check out the album out on

Brand new track by aDaD called “Wishful Thoughts” produced by Illmind. In the past he has already worked with people such as Q-Tip, Madlib, Exile, and Waajeed so you know the man is fire. He’ll be dropping an untitled mixtape later this year as well as a full project with Exile so be on the look out for that.

So Co$$‘ new album is about to drop next month. First video is “Spaceman” and if my hunch is right “Before I Awoke” might just be that type of hype that you’ve been waiting for. A few cameo’s on there from Blu, Aloe Blacc and Shawn Jackson. Production wise he called in the help of Exile, Fonetik Simbol, J83, Knxwledge, Cook Classics, Erik L and Chief. Really looking forward to this one dropping June 7th on Tres Records!
Exile remixed his “AM/FM” album and now also the video gets remixed. Combining multiple remixes from various producers such as Samiyam, Dibiase and Free The Robots. Co-Directed by Exile and Greg The Dude, this video for “Population Control” continues Exile’s interest in stop motion animation.

Exile (aka Mr. Funky Worm) just dropped his “Radio Bonus” album and made it available as a FREE download. You can find a lot of remixes on there, but also some cuts that didn’t make the “Radio” album. Also…Exile’s official website – www.thedirtyscience.com – is a fact.
