In preparation for the launch of the forthcoming Eglo website, the guys took to the streets to record a little video for my favorite song from Fatima…“Mind”, taken from her “Follow You” EP produced entirely by Floating Points. It’s all luv innit!
Bought my copy of Fatima‘s “Follow Me” EP last week and again Eglo Records is bringing out something I just have to spend my money on. This time it’s a Floating Points release coming out next week including two brand new tracks. The b-side is called “Faruxz” which is a bit more mellowed out and kinda spacey at the same time. More uptempo and suitable for the dance floor is Sam’s “Marilyn”. This one is going to knock your socks off…just check this snippet! Earlier this week we received an early promo copy of Fatima‘s upcoming “Follow You” EP and we can tell you it’s amazing. This one’s entirely produced by Floating Points and just sounds bananas. Perhaps you’ve heard the mesmerizing “Mind” before on the radio, but I bet you guys haven’t heard “Red Light” yet. The homies from Eglo uploaded this preview to Youtube which we would like to share with you all. The EP is set to release in May and a small run of vinyl copies will also available prior to the digital release.
Normally I’m not a big fan of remix projects, but sometimes shit hits hard. I heard the vocal remix of Gucci Mane‘s “It’s Alive” and I wasn’t digging it.
