His productions run from 8-bit classics to seductive soul to raw grungy bangers. “May The Force” falls into the latter of these styles and is an extra heavy, deeply compressed rocker which switches between a chop up of the Star Wars (Death Star) OST and a lofi rendition of the same piece. It’s been a long time coming, but finally we can announce that Detroit rapper Finale will be releasing his new album on Interdependent Media. The official A Pipe Dream And A Promise album release show will go down on April 4th in Detroit at Elements Gallery.
Expect to hear people like Invincible, Black Milk (on production) and Flying Lotus. The last did the production on the J Dilla (R.I.P.) homage on this wonderful album and is the icing on the cake.
