The first time I heard of Radio Galaxy is about a year and a half ago when my man FWMJ sent me some work in progress. At the time I was told to heavily keep it under wraps, or keep it under heavily wraps… either way the time has now come for the rest of the world to get familiar. Radio Galaxy consists of producer King Coz (aka King Midas from HISD and DJ Cozmos) and singer Khimmy J and hail from Houston, Texas. The sound is a bit familiar at times but I don’t think comparisons really do it justice, mainly due to the production. Check it out for yourself, their debut album “We Come In Peace” is now available on Bandcamp, and make sure to check out the “Feel Trip” video while you’re at it.

Toronto lyricist Promise released his “More Than Music” album in 2008 and FWMJ got his hands on this alternate version of “Much More” featuring Darien Brockington. This one contains an extra verse by Tanya Morgan‘s Von Pea. In case you weren’t hip to Promise yet, check out his album on iTunes.

Everybody else their favourite rapper Drake teams up with two of our favourite MC’s Phonte and Elzhi. Nice oldschool 9th Wonder production like we love…like Little Brother used to sound like…L.O.V.E. Straight from the “Comeback Season” Mixtape and mad props to Heinz from Rappersiknow!
