I know we’ve all been waiting for Georgia Anne Muldrow’s latest album “King’s Ballad” to drop and here it is at last! I browsed through it myself rather quickly, but I think it’s definately worth taking a listen to. You can hear she went her own way on this album and for those that love the old Georgia Anne…you might not love this album that much. I do think that this is a more mature album and eventhough it sounds more poppy, it has a couple of heavy hitters on it! Take this ballad with Dudley Perkins “Summer Love” for instance. That right there is my summer 2010 joint fo sho. Head on over to Rushhour to buy the CD or get yourself a copy on vinyl!

Electric Wire Hustle are a New Zeland based band and have just released their new, self-titled EP. The group consists of David ‘TaayNinh’ Wright (multi-instrumentalist and producer), Myele Manzanza (drums), Mara TK (vocals / guitarist / turntabilist / producer) and Benny Tones (sound engineer and producer). Developing their own sound and twist on modern hip-hop, psychedelic and soul, the music of EWH reaches forward while referencing key points of music’s past.
