Here’s the final and 3rd video from the recent free event by The Miguel Atwood-Ferguson Ensemble in LA. This time featuring Stones Throw’s Aloe Blacc who we will be interviewing in 1 week on RBMA Sound Gallery Radio. Together, Miguel and Aloe pay homage and tribute to Gang Starr MC Keith ‘Guru’ Elam, doing an arrangement of Gang Starr’s “Betrayal”, which initially featured Scarface. Aloe Blacc’s album “Good Things” is also out now via the Stones Throw Store. You can enjoy both the video as well as the audio of “Deliver the Word” available as free download via Miguel’s Band Camp.

The following footage was recorded during the free performance that the Miguel Atwood-Ferguson Ensemble hosted in Los Angeles recently, featuring some of today’s brightest talent.  You’ve probably seen the video with Bilal already and now get ready for another amazing piece of music. This time around, check out the video from the Miguel Atwood-Ferguson Ensemble featuring LA based and Brainfeeder master-mind, Flying Lotus. Alongside the all-star cast of musicians, enjoy everyone doing a rendition of “Drips” from Flying Lotus’s recently released album “Cosmogramma” and “Take Notice” an arrangement of a J Dilla original from his “Ruff Draft” EP. The audio portion of “Drips/Take Notice” is also available for free mp3 download via Miguel Atwood-Ferguson’s Bandcamp page.
