Well here it is. Flying Lotus is back with the third installment of the “L.A.” series. We posted the TAKE remix of “Parisian Goldfish” as a Moovmnt exclusive months ago and sadly that is the dopest joint on the whole EP. From the six remaining tracks we had to share this “Infinitum” remix Dimlite did. The digital bonus remix from TAKE is also very nice, so congrats Mr. Klank! As a little bonus Warp wanted you to have this free bonus track “Auntie’s Lock” (with The Life Force Trio). If you like what you hear just go to iTunes and buy!

One more reason for every musician to move to LA. Last week there was a private jam session in a secret location in downtown LA..with an amazing line-up. Mark de Clive-Lowe on juno 6, radias, mpc3000, Shafiq Hussain from Sa-Ra Creative Partners on his juno, Computer Jay on his rhodes and 3 moogs, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson on his violin, Zap Mama and LA fam on vocals, Todd Simon on trumpet..and more. The actual jam itself was pulled together by Dru from Artdontsleep and was documented on video, pics and audio. Below is a cut of the whole jam. Big ups to Mark de Clive, Computer Jay and Artdontsleep..

Just when we started to get sick of all the artists doing Dilla (G.O.A.T) tributes, I heard this beautiful beautiful song. A new version of ATCQ’s Find a way by Carlos Nino & Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. Maybe one of my favorite tracks of 2008. At least it made some people cry…… and some people will have this on repeat for a couple of days.
