Mike Slott just tweeted about a remix he did for Miami-based producer Jacque Polynice. The track is called “Obama O’s” and boy is this a banger! Gotta give credit to LuckyMe and XLR8R for supplying this dopeness.

This is the first in a series of collaborative 12′s and this project by All City goes by the name of ‘All City Collabs’. This will span a variety of tempos, frequencies and genres. For the first out of the series Martyn (3024) and Mike Slott (LuckyMe) team up and kick off. The result is a two track 12″ containing “All Night” (which sounds more like Martyn) backed with the even sicker “Pointing Fingers” (which sounds more like Mike). The results are crazy nice and I know you’re all going to digg this a lot! For this series artwork comes from the creative brain of Steve Serrato (Mochilla/Poobah). Pre-order now at Rush Hour or get it at your local record shop/online retailers on Jan. 24th on All City.

I’m really glad the legendary BTS Radio is back. Andrew Meza started a movement in our genre. And if you forgot about it, or never got the chance to check it out, it won’t be a waste of time if you check the BTS archive in the next few months. Now Andrew started where he left off and will continue to bring you quality mixes/podcasts. Up first…. Ras G..AIRHORN!!
Ras G is a commanding force in Los Angeles and a classic example of what artistry is. Always pushing his production limits and bending his sound to a point that really make you believe he’s from outer space. His live shows have a reputation of blowing out sound systems and shaking walls to the point of deterioration.
This exclusive set for BTS is only a taste of the destruction he can bring to speakers…Take cover. Tracklist after the jump.

Dutch youngin’ Jameszoo (Beatt-apes crew member) has been DJ’ing for quite some time now and has played along side of people like Cinnaman (Beat Dimensions). Also keep an eye for him on the production side, but more about that on a different note. His style is very electronic and experimental, yet he tries to put some soulfulness in the mix. Clothing brand No Rest For The Obsessed decided to approach him to make a mixtape and here it is…“NRFTO MIX 001″. Y’skid did the recording, Tommy Smits the photography and NRFTO did the cover.

To end the year properly, we came up with the idea to sum up 2009 and let ya’ll know what we thought was epic and who ya’ll slept on. We would like to thank you all for staying loyal to the movement called Moovmnt and 2010 has a lot of newness in store for you. Our brand new website will launch early Januari, the Moovmnt Sampler releases will be dropping like hotcakes and Moovmnt TV is coming up.
Our Belgian homeboy Azer did a 2009 mix and it goes hard as you might guess. It’s a selection of some of his favorite tracks released in 2009. It was broadcasted on December 30, 2009 in the Laid Back Show on FM Brussel. Happy new year and see you on the flipside.
