Released in 1987 and still top choice, not only in the Dutch streets, but worldwide to this very day, it’s only appropriate to give creator Tinker Hatfield and his original Nike Air Max 1 it’s just due by paying homage. The original recognizable colorblocking has been applied to remain true to it’s strong heritage and the main focus has been directed at the choice of durable materials: purple denim, canvas and nubuck ensure a more street-friendly version to carry on footwear tradition in a proud fashion. Tier Zero release in store-only at Patta now. Big up to Lee, Edzon, Gee, Tim, FS and the rest of TEAM PATTA…more pics after the jump (courtesy of Rox). Continue reading »
This IAM1 Journey of Amsterdam, featuring Nalden as the storyteller, is a part of the Nike Europe project showcasing creative hotspots in 5 cities through the eyes of their native revolutionaries. This great stop-motion movie takes you to a few of Nalden’s favorite spots and people like Momkai, the MiNiBar, HOTEL and La Melodia. The wonderful soundtrack was made by Melodee and I.N.T. After such a long time I’m happy to announce that De La is finally back with a new album. I was fortunate enough to meet Posdnuos a couple of years ago and these guys are so humble after more than two decades of making wonderful, concious music. Unfortunately this album is a continuous mix and after five years of waiting I personally hoped for a lot more. On the other hand…it’s a collaboration with Nike+ and was made to enhance your running experience.
I’m not here to tell ya’ll how dope De La Soul is. Nor am I going to tell you the details concerning how this album was created. I just want to tell you to go listen to the music for yourself and buy the “Are You In?” album on iTunes if you decide you like it. We wanted to give you guys a taste so here are the two dopest songs.

Kissey Asplund illustrates the lifestyle of a singer in Stockholm. Nice marriage of style, imagery and music. The song is called “Silverlake” and it’s produced by Dorian Concept.
If you can find her album Plethora, pick it up without hesitation. She also has an older EP called Fuss N Fight as well as a slew of random songs floating around. Drops Oct 22nd as a limited 12? vinyl, and digitally November 3rd. Trees For Breakfast.
