So you read all about fLako‘s ‘The Mesektet’ album by now huh? As stated before it’s a collection of music previously only available digitally or not vailable at all. The album was supposed to drop in only a few days, but I just saw that HHV is expecting them around the 20th instead. Madlib‘s “Medicine Show #9: Channel 85 presents Nittyville”, a full-length hip-hop album featuring Detroit’s Frank Nitt, will be out May 17 on Stones Throw as on CD as well as on limited edition 3/LP vinyl. Nittyville is also perhaps the most traditional of the series: one MC, one producer, and a rap record all about stunts, blunts and hip-hop.
