Again this mysterious Austrian producer who goes by the name of Mez (aka Mezuian) is comin’ correct with two new production. First song is “Do For You” with vocalist Jonny Sass and my favorite of the two songs below. Second is a new song with Soia called “Mood Swings” which also sounds pretty nice. I think it’s time for Mez to step out of the darkness and into the light. This guy deserves some more shine! Oh and if you hurry you can snag both songs from his Soundcloud page as a free download.

Renee Neufville, songstress of the platinum R&B duo Zhane is currently working on her first solo recording venture, titled “Sovereign.” Almost one year ago Renee uploaded some nice treats on her soundcloud including this amazing track “Everything” which features drummer extraodinair Chris “Daddy” Dave on drums.

Got this email in yesterday about a duo from Seattle called Malice & Mario Sweet. A couple that has been happily married for a few years now and decided to share their passion for music together. Earlier this year they released their “Happy 2 Year” album. Adding a few extra bonus songs and remixes, they now have a deluxe edition out. For me the “Date Night” remix stood out eventhough I have no clue who remixed it.

This year’s Red Bull Music Academy is in full effect again. Participants such as Full Crate and Salva are probably having the time of their lives as we speak in Madrid. Yesterday miss Erykah Badu was a guest at the academy and gave a lecture. Last summer I was introduced to L.A.-based JimiJames with her sexy sounds. I really liked her 2nd “So Janky” album and I still have to check out her debut album soon. Her style is best described as poppy combined with some soulfulness, R&B and Hip Hop (or as she describes it ‘Grittipop’). She reminds me a bit of J*DaVeY, but just on a couple of tracks. She’s did the vocals on Hawthorne Headhunters‘ “She Wanna” and performs with Master Blazter from time to time (HVW8 up in this one). Kinda late pass I know, but I wanted to introduce this foxy lady anyway before she truly blows up. Really feeling “Bitchin’” produced by Karriem Riggins and “Already Done” is also quite nice.
