Today’s Slept On Sundays is dedicated to Ishfaq. Originally from the UK he currently resides in Croatia and has lived in Ireland as well as Amsterdam before that. I got put onto his music while he was living out here between 2001 and 2003 and he quickly became one of my favorites. He has released his own “The Change EP” on Dublin based Scribble Records in 2007 as well as done remixes/production for Beatspoke, O.Boogie and Stee Downes. Throughout the years Ishfaq has also made a name for himself by posting unofficial remixes online that totally blow the originals out of the water. So to keep you in a nice lazy Sunday vibe here’s one of my favorites out of those, his version of D’Angelo’s “Left & Right”

Shame on me! Now apparently I’ve had this Method Man & Redman“Mrs. International” – joint for months, but never got around to listening to it. Luckily my cuz Mr. Speak told me about this wonderful track last week. Since the official video is out, I thought it might be nice to share it with ya’ll. There’s a cameo for the green eyed bandit Mr. Erick Sermon as well. Am I the only one that slept on this…I wonder. Lets call this a “Slept on Mondays” or sumthin. In case you were wondering where to buy…look no further, cuz iTunes is the solution. Thnx to Onsmash for the video.

Brothers Like and Mibbs and longtime friend BeYoung better known as Pacific Division have put together a relatable sound, full of charisma, fun rhymes, and deep ones as well. Their latest blendtape “Role Players” should be out this summer in preparation for their Major Label (Universal) debut, The Grown Kid Syndrome.

The man behind the Pac Div beats is Swiff D. Checkout these vids from The Red Bull Beat Battle in LA. Swiff produced for none other than Snoop Dogg, Nas, Redman, Talib Kweli, Styles P, Anthony Hamilton, & Rick Ross. Swiff’s SWIFFstrumentals Vol.1 will be dropping  a few weeks before Pac Div’s debut LP.  We will keep you posted on that on MoovmntDotCom.
