 
D3 is a collective of 3 MC’s: Emer Gea, Kwame and Vestat & 3 beatmakers: Tayreeb, Gea, Zebon.
They made a mixtape as an homage to Detroit artists like J Dilla (R.I.P.), Black Milk, Phat Kat, Guilty Simpson and Slum Village. The reason why they made the mixtape is because they want to introduce the Detroit sound to France. Amsterdam-based producer SirOJ also did a production on the album (U&I) so get this one on iTunes when it drops!

Yes Yes Y’all celebrates their one year anniversary with a special podcast, it’s more a “Thank U” than a celebration, but we surely think this fine blog deserves a celebration. The download is a full package with a cd, full booklet and bonus material, which are all worth mentioning. The main tracklist contains mainly names that were unfamiliar to us (how is it possible?!) but we’re glad to get to know them. Slumgullion is a group of three young guns from the Netherlands. They work as composers, producers and songwriters. They produced tracks for several Hiphop artists, beat compilations all over the world.
With airplay, guestmixes on radio stations all over the world, (BTS, BBC’s Worldwide and Deviation, Samurai a.o) they became known in every corner of the experimental beat side of hiphop. Main influences are producers as J Dilla, Madlib, Flying Lotus, Buggz in the Attic and Jazztronik but also Herbie Hancock, Weather Report, Steely Dan, Azymuth or Roy Hargrove and Marcus Miller.
