We met with miss Muhsinah earlier this year in Rotterdam and shot some footage at her hotel. When we picked her up from the airport I asked her about her “The Oscillations: Triangle” album. We decided to get the forgotten footage out and piece together a short video especially for our Moovmnt visitors. Hope ya’ll like it and appreciate the effort we put into this.

With the release of “The Oscillations: Square” as an Artist Direct {Digital Exclusive}, avant mod indie label, Rxlngr has taken some unprecidented steps in releasing the compiled works from 2003-2008 of it 1st and arguably most promising artist, Muhsinah. The new installment comes amidst the overwhelming anticipation of the 3rd installment, “The Oscillations: Triangle” (which is still being recorded).
In a nutshell… 7/20 is Muhsinah’s birthday and “The Oscillations: Square” is in a sense, The Golden Girl’s gift to the fans. 13 tracks that would surely be lost to time if not for this release. “Gems” if you will, polished to be shared. Ever since “The Oscillations: Sine” it’s been a bit quiet around DC’s hottest female vocalist. Muhsinah explained us that this is an oldie and nothing ever actually happened with “Plan B”. We thought this Kev Brown Mix was way too nice to just remain on the shelves for an eternity. Bilal Salaam supposedly did a remix too, but we haven’t heard that one yet.
