Again this mysterious Austrian producer who goes by the name of Mez (aka Mezuian) is comin’ correct with two new production. First song is “Do For You” with vocalist Jonny Sass and my favorite of the two songs below. Second is a new song with Soia called “Mood Swings” which also sounds pretty nice. I think it’s time for Mez to step out of the darkness and into the light. This guy deserves some more shine! Oh and if you hurry you can snag both songs from his Soundcloud page as a free download.

Seeing it’s been pretty quiet the last days, I thought it might be an idea to let ya’ll know this guy hasn’t been sitting still. Go ahead and listen to some new music he’s been working. Something like four months ago, Soia (vocals) & MEZ (production) put the song “Obtaining” on their Soundcloud. It was only until a few weeks ago that the homie Front2blaq made me aware of this one. The Vienna-based artists are currently working together on their upcoming EP set to release next year. Kinda reminds me a little of some ’07 Kissey Asplund stuff, which is neither good nor bad. It just is. Oh well…again we slept on something for a while. That’s what these Sundays are for right?!

This 25 year old Viennese producer and drummer takes on his fierce colleague The Clonious who you might remember from his debut album “Between the Dots” on Ubiquity last year. Vienna’s collective JSBL consists out of Clemens Bacher, Willi Rosner, The Clonious and Dorian Concept. The latter two both ex-participants of the Red Bull Music Academy and how fitting Dorian remixes his own band’s song. Hypnosizing chords and tantalizing sounds are the main ingredients for this SICK ass joint called “The Flu”. Watch out for their “Twice Upon Two Times” Remixed EP out June 7th on Affine. [via RBMA]

Last year we already informed you this guy Brenk cooks up one killer Gumbo! This Austrian heayweight beatchampion has produced for the likes of Guilty Simpson, MC Eiht and Miles Bonny. He introduces his protegee, the Italian beatmaker Fid Mella, with this cats like Kev Brown and EdO G.
