It’s been a long time coming, but finally we can announce that Detroit rapper Finale will be releasing his new album on Interdependent Media. The official A Pipe Dream And A Promise album release show will go down on April 4th in Detroit at Elements Gallery.
Expect to hear people like Invincible, Black Milk (on production) and Flying Lotus. The last did the production on the J Dilla (R.I.P.) homage on this wonderful album and is the icing on the cake. First ?uestlove and now ATQC! This high ankle version of the classic Jordan 1 is inspired by the album artwork of the 1993 acclaimed album Midnight Marauders by hiphop icons A Tribe Called Quest. They feature a black upper constructed primarily from tumbled leather, along with a black, red, and green pattern on the toe box and quarter panels which draw inspiration from the album artwork. They have officially been labeled the Air Jordan 1 (I) Retro High Strap Sole to Sole, but many are nicknaming them the Tribe Called Quest or Midnight Marauders Air Jordan 1. They are very limited, and are now available at select accounts including BNYC Online.
