A few months ago D-Felic release his debut album on “Oost West Thuis Best” (which means ‘there’s no place like home’ in Dutch). This album has a soulful vibe and fuses electronic sounds with Nu-Jazz and Broken Beat. The majority of the vocals was done by Colonel Red (People Records, Bugz In The Attic) and Tondráe Kemp. Other guest artists are guitarist Marcus Machado and famed Dutch trumpeter Jan van Duikeren (Candy Dulfer, Paul Weller, New Cool Collective Big Band). Both a video and a Tom Trago (Rush Hour Recordings) remix of deep house album cut “The More I” (featuring Colonel Red) are both on their way. Check out the the digital release at the iTunes Store or pre-order the CD at Bol.com and leave a comment to let us know what you think. Thanks to Alex Buiter for the photography and D-Felic for giving away “Here For You” as a Moovmnt exclusive download.
