I know we’ve all been waiting for Georgia Anne Muldrow‘s latest album “King’s Ballad” to drop and here it is at last! I browsed through it myself rather quickly, but I think it’s definately worth taking a listen to. You can hear she went her own way on this album and for those that love the old Georgia Anne…you might not love this album that much. I do think that this is a more mature album and eventhough it sounds more poppy, it has a couple of heavy hitters on it! Take this ballad with Dudley Perkins “Summer Love” for instance. That right there is my summer 2010 joint fo sho. Head on over to Rushhour to buy the CD or get yourself a copy on vinyl!

I consider myself an uber GA fan…to be honest it’s actually better than I anticipated…and indeed you have to hear the whole album….very cohesive…though I feel some beats needed to be longer …definitely not similar to Olesi …but this is the most solid album from her since then…I love it…it’s great if Olsei = 5 Stars , this one is 4.5 = Stars …it’s more settled…. a great album GA! Thanks!
