The Golden $200:

WTF!?!!…where the heck has this beauty of a song been hiding all this time? Flying Lotus produced (and streamed on his Soundcloud) this extremely sexy bonus track of the Japanese version of Thundercat‘s “The Golden Age of Apocalypse”. It features Austin Peralta and let’s be honest…“$200 TB” is by far the sickest bonus track I’ve heard in a while! Big up Brainfeeder.

Thundercat HooooooO!! Today’s the day that “The Golden Age of Apocalypse” officially releases on Brainfeeder. We don’t need to tell you how serious this album is and how mindblowing some of these tracks are. Just listen to “Fleer Ultra” and rush to The Golden Age of Apocalypse - Thundercat for that digital stuff or to Rush Hour for that vinyl or CD.

Bilal is back with his “Levels” EP that includes the original, an instrumental version and two remixes. First is by L.A.’s big dawg Flying Lotus and the other one is from Sonnymoon. Really digg FlyLo’s mellowed out version, so give it a listen. Or go ahead and purchase the EP via Levels - EP - Bilal or the Plug Research shop.

TEEBS

Teebs upcoming album “Ardour” was made during two major periods of Teebs’ life. Having just lost his job and with little to no money, Teebs moved into the same apartment complex as Flying Lotus and shared living quarters with another Brainfeeder affiliate, Samiyam. It was here that the beginning stages and one-half of Ardour were created. Before Teebs was aware his album was showing itself, his father who had been terminally ill, passed away. He moved back home and stopped making music. After an arduous period where he ceased work on the album altogether, Teebs was able to regain focus and finish the album at home. Thanks to You’ll Soon Know. Alpha Pup.
