The wait is over. A brand new album by Jneiro Jarel on Kindred Spirits is a fact. We all remember his first “Three Piece Puzzle” release on Kindred and now the two have found each other once more. The title of his latest album is “Fauna” and it is heavily inspired by Brazilian music. Offering two special deals, Kindred Spirits has put together two packages containing the following. The vinyl package consists of the LP + 7″ + poster, while the other package contains the CD + 7″ + poster. If you buy the album seperately, you will not get a poster so go for that package deal! Jneiro Jarel (aka Dr. Who Dat?) has always been a huge fan of Arthur Verocai and sampled some of his work in the past. Jneiro was delighted to be able to work on this project and turned Arthur’s “Balada 45″ into an ode to Brazilian girls. One luv to Vtech for makin’ this available in the form of a FREE download. Don’t forget to check out the new “Android Love Mayhem” album that released today via

For over a decade, Jneiro Jarel (aka Dr. Who Dat?) has provided listeners with an unbelievably eclectic mix of sounds ranging from hip hop, to electronica, to Brazilian funk, to bass music. Often being described as “experimental” and “psychedelic”, Jarel simply calls it “The Viberian Experience”. On the Android Love Mayhem EP you can hear the progress/change in JJ’s sound since Three Piece Puzzle and other former releases. I still don’t know if this is positive or negative, but all I know is that Jneiro is constantly evolving. The EP will be releases on April 13th on Label Who.

Philadelphia-based hip hop producer Jneiro Jarel teamed up with Georgia based musician Khujo Goodie and formed Willie Isz. They will release their first album called “Georgiavania” on Lex Records. The central concept and inspiration at the heart of the album is an imaginary 51st US state named Georgiavania. In Georgiavania’s post-hip-hop paradise Willie Isz combine Southern hip-hop styles such as Crunk and Snap music with rock and psychedelia-infused influences, and the duo consciously avoided sampling in favour of live instrumentation and a super-fresh sound. Promo artwork by James Jarvis.
