VA’s miss Tiffany Paige is best known for her work with Talib Kweli, DOOM, John Robinson, J Rawls, Zo! (Foreign Exchange), Scienz of Life, Khrysis, Carlos Nino and many more. You might have seen a few posts before where her name was mentioned, but she’s back in the studio working on some new music. First up is an unreleased gem produced by Zo! entitled “Seasons” (from ’05 via Phonte). It was supposed to be on her “Dreamwalk” album which never got released. “Such:a:challenge” was produced by ID 4 Windz (Scienz of Life) & Ty Macklin and can be downloaded for FREE at Tiffany’s Bandcamp. Keep track of miss Paige and follow her on Twitter and enjoy the music!

Mister Eric Lau is at it again and is dropping his latest release at the end of this month. Peep this interview for “Makin’ Sound” to get an idea about his inspirations for the release and the production of some of the tracks. The LP can also be previewed in full now at the Kilawatt bandcamp page, and will be available to buy next Monday (27th Sep) from hhv.de, Fat Beats and Jazzy Sport. They’re also giving away a copy of the release to a fan at random, all people have to do is tweet about the release and tag @ericlaumusic on Twitter or Eric Lau on Facebook.

Good friend and fellow Amsterdam resident Full Crate just blessed us with a sick variation he did a while back. He’s been a Def Jam Poetry fan for years and was missing the element of music in many occasions. For this reason he decided to take Floetry‘s “Fantasise” and make his own variation, which turned out mighty fine if I may say so. Peep the original after the jump and get an idea of what Crate started out with. I’m hoping he’s dropping more goodness like this, because let’s face it…everybody loves a freebie like this. Shout out to Deluge for doing the artwork and follow my man Crate on Twitter if you’re not already or add him on Myspace.

The intergalactic lord of F0nk – DâM-FunK – was abducted last night (probably by the evil Sir Nose D’Voidoffunk). Upon arrival back 2 his room, (around 12:30ishA.M. PST) he made this brand new freebie “IHopeUKnowImWatchingJune”…[source: Twitter]

The invincible Skillz from V.A. done wrapped the O-Nine up for us and naturally there’s some funny ass rhymes, but oh so true. Barack Obama becoming the first black president, Rihanna v.s. Chris Brown, Michael Jackson‘s death, Jazzy Jeff getting kicked out of Kansas because he played Hip Hop, Twitter becoming huge and Tiger Woods putting 18 hoes. I remember when Skillz was still Mad Skillz and him blowing everybody’s mind when he dropped dem sick as freestyles on Freestyle Frenzy with Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito. Memories of the past and memories of the past year…it’s all love.

Why is it that some artists get slept on so badly? I mean come on people. Reggie B has that killer voice, plays funky like no other and he’s part of the INnatesounds Crew. That combination alone should be lethal as hell, but not everybody is picking up on this talented artist yet. Earlier today I noticed that Reggie dropped a little sumting on Twitter. I wanted to share it with ya’ll so enjoy “A Few Steps Forward” (produced by Saadiq from Platinum Pied Pipers) and “Get Down With Me” both from the forthcoming “Get Down With Me” album released on their own INnatesounds label. Get your ass ta steppin’ and buy Reggie’s new album on iTunes. Just had to add a sneak preview, cuz “Outergalactic Funk” is exactly what some of you cats wanted to hear!
