We recorded this Stones Throw Special w/ Aloe Blacc at the Sound Gallery in Amsterdam yesterday. Got some nice exclusive joints in there so give it a listen. Aloe’s show tonight at Rotown Rotterdam has been sold out, so it’s gonna be hot & heavy. Big up to Stones Throw for bringing out so much good music over the years.
Came across this new joint by Stacy Epps when visiting BamaLoveSoul. Enjoy the soothing “Praise Meditation” which is available for free download via Stacy’s Bandcamp.

As a prelude to that we’re posting MNDSGN “Flybutter”..Make sure you support good music and buy some over here. If you were lucky to find a free unofficial beattape in the last few hours, listen to it a few more times, don’t share it and delete it…Thank you.

Sam is a DJ/producer from Brooklyn who has done some productions for Kissey Asplund and Selan Lerner. Normally I’m not that big on remixes, but this one has got my stamp of approval. In grim times like these, we need more soulfullness and this is what the doctor ordered. Enjoy this free download, visit his Bandcamp and be on the look out for his Remix EP.

(of the Athletic Mic League) are two unsung heroes coming out of Michigan. Their “New Jack Kings” project was inspired by the infamous era of high top fades, eye brow parts, and house parties. The album revolves around life, love, women and fashion as a solute to artists such as Teddy Riley, Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson, New Edition and Kid n Play who made songs that everyone could relate to.
Lots of classic New Jack Swing flips by producers like Vaughan T, 14KT, Nick Speed, ZO! and vocal contributions from Buff 1, Mayer Hawthorne, Big Tone, Ro Spit, Aloe Blacc, Ella, and Sole Deacon. Grab the free download HERE and enjoy.

Perhaps one of the most anticipated albums for 2010 for us is Nottz his upcoming “You Need This Music” album (Oct. 26th). Another leak, “Blast That”, this time featuring Black Milk just dropped. I know you’re gonna dig this..and trust me that album is gonna be BIG!

Allthough “Album of The Year” is nothing mindblowin’, I still believe it’s a good album with some solid joints on it. My pick is “Over Again” Ft. Monica Blaire and I suggest you go give it a listen. Check out
for a digital copy or pick up the CD or vinyl over at Rush Hour.
