We met with miss Muhsinah earlier this year in Rotterdam and shot some footage at her hotel. When we picked her up from the airport I asked her about her “The Oscillations: Triangle” album. We decided to get the forgotten footage out and piece together a short video especially for our Moovmnt visitors. Hope ya’ll like it and appreciate the effort we put into this.
Camera and editing by Joao Costa, to whom goes massive respect! We recently got together with Ty in Amsterdam and shot a very interesting interview. If everything goes according to plan this video will be online before the holidays. Shout out to RBMA for picking this up!
There has been heavily blogged about “The Oscillations: Triangle” on all the blogs lately, but we did not want to withhold one of the best songs from the album from you.

He took music from legends like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Al Green, Sade and James Brown) and re-created them in his signature funky, electronic style. I was lucky enough to witness it live…and trust me it’s LIVE! Head on over to LifeNotes Music for more detailed info or download it HERE for free!

Polyester The Saint managed to do it again and take me back in time. Together with Zipp, Skeme and Casey Veggies he talks about the goold old days, before anybody ever heard of Soulja Boy, when life made more sense and when Pete Rock was still using them funky horns. Okay so we’ve heard that piano before. I’m just glad there’s still people out there that do get what Hip Hop is supposed to sound like.

To then have other people sampling bits off the finished vinyl, was part of completing the concept – and, finally, here is some of its outcome. rushhour

His soul-baring vocals are something to behold – described by friend and collaborator Flying Lotus as “Timeless Incredible Filth”.
The Holidays/Candylane 7 inch is out now, and includes a 20 page gold foil prayer book. Unfortunately we are not alowed to share these tracks, so here are 2 streams. warp

Kim (who’s hard work is always appreciated) sent us this new Co$$ joint to hold you over till the release of his first debut album, which is hopefully coming real soon. The track is entitled “No Allah” and was produced by Swedish producer Erik L. No Allah is in no way his proclamation that God does not exist, nor does he mean any disrespect to Muslims or any systems of belief, the song is really about good not being able to thrive where evil is uplifted….If you listen closely the lyrics are more about hypocrisy than Atheism.
Enjoy and feel free to post and spread around.
