New Zealand’s leading lady of future soul music is back with another album entitled “Automatic”. When we heard that Ladi6 was going to be working with Waajeed on this project, we knew it was gonna sound tight. Check out the album on Bandcamp if you wanna know what D & NZ sound like together.

Last week I came across the new single taken from The Foreign Exchange‘s upcoming fourth album “Love In Flying Colors“. I was digging the non-album b-side “Pity” and thought I’d share this one (even if I’m on the late side). The album drops later this month and the single is available on iTunes.

Sorry for the long break, but lately posting just a few times a week has been really working for us. Perhaps a bit less for you guys, don’t worry…we’re not about to quit on y0u. Came across this nice new jawn from the lovely couple Malice & Mario Sweet entitled “Jawn Travoltuh”. Straight of their “Enjoy:Like:Love” project and produced by Tall Black Guy. Sounds like the sweetest caramal fudge version of Saturday Night Fever. Enjoy..Like..Love!

Almost slept on this one, but thought it sounds too good not to mention. Miss Fatima‘s new “Circle” EP contains three songs produced by Computer Jay, Oh No and Floating Points (allthough it’s a live version and vinyl only). If you’d like to pick up your copy on vinyl, make sure to head on over to the Eglo shop.

Very pleased to let y’all know that Terrace Martin‘s brand new “3ChordFold” is out! Now here’s a wonderful mix between Hip Hop, Jazz and Soul all blending perfectly into one. Together with musicians like Robert Glasper, James Fauntleroy, Lalah Hathaway and Musiq Soulchild Martin makes this into a winner. Other featuring artists such as Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa make it more accessible for a younger generation of music fans. A few of my fav’s are “Over Time” featuring Musiq, “Angel”, “Gone” with Robert Glasper & Casey Benjamin and “Triangle Ship” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

It was only yesterday I thought about José James‘ “No Beginning, No End”. Gave that one 1 listen and that was it. This morning I opened my email and was happy to find his new 5-song “Come To My Door” EP. The title track was written by Emily King and the EP contains some crackin’ remixes from fLako, Taylor McFerrin, Oddisee and FaltyDL.

For our latest Moovmnt guest mix, we decided to ask our buddy Anthony Valadez, from the always sunny Los Angeles. A loooooong time ago Ant blessed us with a Moovmnt exclusive guest mix, but we thought time was right for a follow-up. In two months I’ll be visiting KCRW’s very own teddy bear in the flesh for some bro luv. Thank you AntVa and also special thanks to Duktus for the nice artwork.

Heard and Felt Music presents another compilation album, “Stylin’ 600″, presented by Melbourne’s favorite radio icon Ennio Styles. There’s music on there from Heavy, Sampha, Brandee Younger, ChromodaData and DuFrayne. Best part is that it’s a free download in celebration of 600 episodes and 12 years of Stylin’.

It’s been too long since we heard some new music from one of L.A.’s sexiest saxophonists Terrace Martin, but just when we were getting slighty nervous his latest single, “No Wrong No Right”, came floating our direction. This is of his upcoming “3ChordFold” LP which is slated to drop August 13. Martin shows how sometimes in relationships, no one wants to admit their wrongs. The single is available on iTunes now so act accordingly.
