By now you’re probably familiar already with Perth, Australia producer Ta-Ku. Fresh off being featured on Brownswood “Electr*c 2” compilation, he now brings us a four track digital release through Darker Than Wax. At the moment “KT” is exclusively available through Bagpak but it should be up at all major online stores in the next few weeks. Check it out here.

Dego’s solo debut “A Wha! Him Deh Pon” will finally be released on June 20th on 2000Black and to remind you all of the genius he has brought us he has enlisted the help of my man DJ Brainchild. Brainchild has compiled a great mix of both released as well as unreleased tracks by the man behind 4Hero and Silhouette Brown. Nothing more to say about this one… enjoy!

Astronote has been delivering top notch quality productions for many years and eventho we’re really late with this one we do want to share his latest “Weapon Of The Future” album in case you’ve missed it. Downloaded the album last week, but never got around to listening to it. I must say I quite enjoy some of these cuts featuring Edo G, Buff1, Dynas, Rasco and T Calmese. Got an email from Jus Like Music informing me about the “Untold Songs: Remixes EP1”. This is the precursor to the Belle curated Untold Songs: Volume One 23-track compilation that is dropping on June 13 in conjunction with Amnesty International. These 3 remixes are free and the full compilation will cost a mere £5 of which the majority will go directly to Amnesty International to support their “Stop Violence Against Women” campaign. The album features a long list of talented artists such as Taylor McFerrin, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Kaidi Tatham, and Nia Andrews. iShe & Hezekiah are an experimental soulful duo composed of singer/songwriter ishe’ from san diego and producer/emcee/songwriter hezekiah from philadelphia. They created this project in 9 days with the help of producer/ drummer Steve Mckie and bassist Tone Whitfield. The project is out on Hezekiah’s own 3 Crates label and is available for $10 on Bandcamp.
