Normally I’m not a big fan of remix projects, but sometimes shit hits hard. I heard the vocal remix of Gucci Mane‘s “It’s Alive” and I wasn’t digging it. As Eglo records reaches it’s 10th release, West London’s Funkineven releases his third record already. On one side we have “Heartpound” which really is a tune for the dancefloor, while on the other side “Another Space” reminds me a bit of some early rave shit from back in the days. Steve has been busy remixing for Hyperdub artist Ikonika while at the same time practicing as part of Fatima‘s live band. Funkineven is on some straight up Future Funk with his latest 12″ entitled “She’s Acid”.
