French Gangsta Funk producer Dogg Master is at it again. Together with Djë he produced “P-Funkin'” for Enois Scroggins, which will be on the upcoming “Cocktails” Vol. 4 (out on Doggy Phunk Palace later this week). Peep the video and make sure you get your Funk on properly!

M-Phazes has been dropping so much heat these past few years that he might needs to take a break before he burns a hole in our site. His remix of Hermitude‘s “Speak of the Devil” is bananas! It has that Disco feel to it and is drenched in Funk at the same time. Hermitude’s “Parallel Paradise” remix EP also contains a remix by the homie Ta-Ku and is available via Elefant Traks.

One of Rome’s funkiest bastards I’ve ever met is without a doubt AD Bourke. Adam’s been venturing more and more into the soulful depths of House music, but always with a dash of Funk. His new “Raw Ivy” release was marinating on my HD for a few weeks, but I think it released yesterday. I can only begin to descibe this mini LP as freakin’ awesome, but please don’t take my word and listen to all six tracks on Bleep before you purchase!

The homie Suff Daddy is about to slap you upside the head with his third (and probably best) album already. This weed smokin’, gin drinkin’ motherf*cker from Berlin has really outdone himself with “Suff Sells”. Big up to David for really evolving musically and stunning me with not only the drunken boom bap beats we’ve grown so fond of, but also with his wide range of influences. I hear a lot of Jazz, Soul and Funk influences which are really working well I think. One of the most impressive jams on here is of course “Det2bln” featuring Phat Kat and Elzhi, so listen to a little preview. Album drops June 1st and is available digitally right now. Long before Moovmnt even existed there was plenty of good music to go around. One of these wonderful songs was sent our way by Mr. Sousa from Rotterdam earlier this week. To be honest I had never heard of House of 909, but after having heard “The Blandford Superfly” I’m glad I now have. Right here we have a beautiful mix of soulful House, Jazz and Funk which you will undoubtably love! The single is availble on in case you were wondering.

Now this is the kind of music that we love telling you about. Several weeks ago ATL saxophonist Darryl Reeves released his new Jazz fusion album entitled “Mercury” via Epic Life Music Group. His 2004 “Diary of a Bandstand” album featured the likes of Robert Glasper and now after eight long years, Mr Reeves is back with a very soulful mix of Mercury music. There are a few interpretations of classic Jazz songs such as Donald Byrd’s “Think Twice”, but also some brand new own material that sounds just as amazing.
