Quite some Sundays ago we posted something about an Austrian producer called Mez. Seeing it’s been pretty quiet the last days, I thought it might be an idea to let ya’ll know this guy hasn’t been sitting still. Go ahead and listen to some new music he’s been working. Sounds kinda promising if you ask and I’m curious to hear more in the future!

Interesting collaboration between Georgia Anne Muldrow and the mad professor of beats Madlib. Their new album is called “Seeds” and will be releasing March 27 on SomeOthaShip Connect. The title song has that 70’s Blaxploitation vibe to it with sick soulful horns, ill strings and Georgia’s distinctive voice. Eventhough the single, “Seeds”, won’t be out until Feb 14 on Fat Beats, an exclusive free download was made available thanks to Rolling Stone.

Diggs Duke blew us away last year with his “Gravity” EP and when he emailed us he was doing a new project I was kinda excited at first. Then I heard some drafts of his “Black Gold” EP and was less impressed, for it was rather short and didn’t have that same killer vibe to it that Gravity had. Still I think you’ll enjoy the title cut and the good news is that the first 1200 people get a free download. You can either pay $0 or if you like, pay a little extra and show some love. Couple of hours ago Slakah the Beatchild dropped a laid back jazzy remix of Drake’s “Headlines”. Now I have nothing with or against Drake and quite honestly I just think this sounds pretty good as a whole. The Moovmnt crew wishes a merry Christmas to each and everyone. This Slept on Sundays Santa is dedicated to a song that has been a big favorite of mine for a few years. It’s from Emanative and is called “When On Earth” (Rapson Remix). The original came out as a 7″ on Futuristica Music and later on the “Time” album in 2010.
