Back in 2002, Japanese label Handcuts Records put out King Britt’s “Black to the Future EP”. This 12″ was basically a mini compilation of great tunes compiled by King Britt. On the A-side you could find The Society and Charlie Dark, but man that B-side was something else. Besides a YNQ joint and a great Capitol A track it also featured the Dego & Kaidi produced Face solo track “Butter Angel”. Majorly slept on in my opinion. Enjoy!

Dunno why, but it just sounds right w/ production by Cookin Soul and apparently directed by 2dopeboyz. Go and download that “Jet Life To The Next Life”.

Every now and then they drop a little bit of that funk and they did so again a few days back. With drums heavily influenced by James Mason, “Nibiru” is an amazingly refreshing outtake on modern day black music. Keep making this kind of music fellas, cuz I know this is what you guys love to make…music from the heart.
