Chris Turner sure is one of those artists to look out for in 2011. I met Chris two weeks ago in Rotterdam where he was singing background for Bilal, and I’ve been listening to this LoveCHILD Prequel EP that he was selling ever since. Now today he leaked “StickyGREEN” which was also on the EP. Just in case you don’t check MOOVMNT daily, you might also want to catch up on his first single “Liquid Love“.

Madlib‘s “Medicine Show #9: Channel 85 presents Nittyville”, a full-length hip-hop album featuring Detroit’s Frank Nitt, will be out May 17 on Stones Throw as on CD as well as on limited edition 3/LP vinyl. Nittyville is also perhaps the most traditional of the series: one MC, one producer, and a rap record all about stunts, blunts and hip-hop.
