Common’s upcoming album “The Dreamer, The Believer” album will be dropping just before Christmas.

Definitely sounds like a good combination to me, would love to hear them do more material together. Grab the track over at Hassaan’s Bandcamp, and if you haven’t already check out iSHE’s project together with Hezekiah too.

Exclusive Brazil Giveaway:
I remember visiting London for the first time when I was just 14. Me and the homie Mr. Speak jumped on a plane and went digging for records mainly. Most of the record stores we visited then, don’t exist anymore. Happy to still have those memories though. That Reggae shop was one of my favorite spots that trip and Mr Bongo was located in the same building if I remember correctly.
Now Mr Bongo recently launched their brand new website and online store. To celebrate this, they’ve put together a 10-track sampler containing the finest of the current Mr Bongo sound. They’re giving this away as a freebie via their Bandcamp page for the next 30 days…so hurry up and download.
Almost two decades later I still have love for Mr Bongo because they’ve been rereleasing some incredible albums from Brazil. They’re even in the process of launching their first venture within Brazil so we can expect even more beautiful exclusive music to come our way. One of our favorite albums rereleased on Mr Bongo this year is without a doubt Cravo & Canela‘s “Preço De Cada Um”. Take a look at their impressive catalogue while you’re at it.
In celebration of their new site we’ve been given the opportunity to give away 3 x CD’s and 3 x LP’s of our favorite Mr. Bongo rerelease to our visitors (that’s you). So if you would like to WIN one of these Cravo & Canela CD’s or LP’s for FREE here’s what you have to do.
1. Send an email to info@moovmnt.com (before Nov. 25 2011) and tell us why you need to win this album.
2. Don’t forget to mention to put ‘Mr Bongo’ in the subject title and also put ‘CD’ or ‘LP’ in there so we’ll know what your preference is.
3. Increase your changes of winning by placing a comment…yes I will check. All winners will be contacted late next week!

World Peace & Astro Funk:
We’ll keep it short this time around. Jazzo & Melodiesinfonie have just released their “Astro Funk & Weltfrieden” album today on Feelin’ Music. We told you about these young cats a few weeks back remember? We streamed an early exclusive called “∆ Sign of Peace” and now leave you with some more dope music from the duo in the form of “Pat Britt” (which is now available as a free download thanks to Feelin’ Music). Visit for some of that digital goodness and peep the video after the jump.

Some Unofficial Sweet Talk?:
Yesterday ARP101 dropped another funky gem on his Soundcloud page (which you should visit from time to time). This time a remix for Kito & Reija Lee‘s “Sweet Talk” which came out on Mad Decent. Check out a low bitrate stream below and enjoy! Too bad the download was limited to just 100 dl’s, but we might get another shot at this in the future.

At the time I was told to heavily keep it under wraps, or keep it under heavily wraps… either way the time has now come for the rest of the world to get familiar. Radio Galaxy consists of producer King Coz (aka King Midas from HISD and DJ Cozmos) and singer Khimmy J and hail from Houston, Texas. The sound is a bit familiar at times but I don’t think comparisons really do it justice, mainly due to the production. Check it out for yourself, their debut album “We Come In Peace” is now available on Bandcamp, and make sure to check out the “Feel Trip” video while you’re at it.

Ếch Nhỏ Trôi:
The little homie Onra has been busy with his “Chinoiseries” Pt. 2 which came out yesterday on All City. The whole concept is crazy nice and if you’re into bangin’ hip hop beats this will hit the spot. Congratulations on a dope sequel homie. Really like the samples and chops, you dug pretty deep for this one. I remember earlier this year when Onra was performing with Buddy Sativa in Amsterdam. I remember him playing “Fight Or Die” and thinking…damn this beat kicks. No doubt we had to stream this one for your enjoyment! If you want to support, go ahead and purchase this release on or pre-order on vinyl at Rush Hour.

1000 Fellas, But No Ladies?:
It’s been a while since we posted a Paul Pre mix, but I thought it was a good idea to share his latest “1000 Fellas” mix. He made this one to celebrate the fact he has reached 1000 followers on Mixcloud. This one has a little bit of everything and sounds kinda smooth. Lets face it…can’t go wrong with two Thundercat songs right!?! Enjoy and make sure to follow Moovmnt as well as Paul Pre on Mixcloud for that sound you like.
Mashin’ Beats:
One of our favorite Kiwi producers, Mark de Clive-Lowe, has been residing in Los Angeles for quite some time now and has returned with his “Renegades” album on Tru Thoughts. Still lots of West London Broken Beats and other melodic uptempo flavors as well. Mashi gets a little help from various vocalists such as Omar, Sheila E, Tawiah, Bembe Segue, Nia Andrews & Ovasoul7. All in all a great new album to shake them hips to. I’m sure the club DJ’s are gonna be happy with this one cuz it sure do bump. Pre-order the CD over at Rush Hour or get a digital copy at .
