I’ve had my ear on Warren Xclnce for a while now and finally found the right moment to talk about young Skywalker Luke aka Mr. Cummings. The first song I heard from this talented producer from London was “Examine Me” featuring Etta Bond. This was on his “Nymphophonic” album which, for the record, also guests IAMNOBODI and miss Ego Ella-May. That one really blew my socks off and is still available for free download. Now fast-forward to today, to his latest production “Amazon” which is off a compilations project initiated by Collective Resonance. “The Amazon Project” is being put out to raise funds for the Amazon Rainforest and releases on the first of June. Modern Funk producer Tryezz from Chattanooga, Tennessee is a master of combining that eighties Funk with

dropped his fresh “Skylines” release earlier today. The project represents ten years of ups and downs. And it sets the perfect soundtrack for all those hot summer days to come! Head on over to Tryezz’ Bandcamp page to show some love.

Jesse Boykins III has done it again. Let’s face it. I thought “Love Apparatus” might not do the trick for me, but I have to admit I was wrong.

On his recently released album (on NoMadic Music) he gets help from MeLo-X, Haydyn, Chad Beatz and of course the mighty mighty Machinedrum himself! Another beauty created..

The beautiful Neo Soul singer Choklate teams up with Stas Thee Boss from THEESatisfaction on “You Got It All”. The song is about knowing that what we create can be given away for the simple fact that there’s no shortage of innovation and artistic creativity. The artwork was created by Stas and is a mesh of Choklate’s image along with a female Samburu warrior. Thanks to DJ Jamad from Afromentals for the heads up.

Last week sir Benny Badge blessed us with the new Freekwency album. I recon “Seal The Deal” sounds like being in the middle of the early eighties. It’s Funk at it sleaziest (in the best way possible). Of course partly thanks to contributions from Cazeaux O.S.L.O., Charli James, Jordan Ruru, Ale Chambers & De Konichiwa. So as I was carefully selecting which songs to stream, I found myself searching for that heavy headnod material with a heavy groove. And just when I was browsing on Soundcloud (for something totally different) my eye caught a glimpse of this Yam Who? edit. I guess it was meant to be in this post! Enjoy this wonderful Funk-filled album and purchase if you like what you hear.

Twenty-two year old Nick Price grew up singing classical music and performed in several operas, with the Canadian Opera Company, before realizing his passion was in contemporary Soul. He grew up in Toronto, studied music at Berklee College of Music (Boston) and moved out to L.A. where he currently resides. With a steady diet of Motown, R&B, Jazz and Neo-Soul, Nick started to shape his sonic vision, which is now coming to fruition with the release of his debut song “Naked Souls“. Max Bryk and Andris Mattson, from Moonchild, are responsible for the production and it’s and honor for us to exclusively premiere this in Europe. Please enjoy an amazing introduction in the form of a free download. Care, share and play everywhere!

Fatima‘s debut album is on it’s way. We’ll have to wait till May 12th for “Yellow Memories” to drop, but this brand new song here will hold you over. Best believe that “Ridin Round” (Sky High) produced by Scoop DeVille is on that bounce tip. Go ahead and pre-order some vinyl if you want to be an early bird and catch that funky worm.

Since I have known B. Bravo he’s been in a band called the Bayonics. I’ve heard this 10 piece band play funk, latin, reggae and some hip hop live and they rock! Lead singer Rojai was mentioned on here before regarding his “Hard Pressed” EP with E-Live. It kinda makes sense for buddy Bravo to drop a remix of their “Good Love” cut from their “City Roots” EP. Luckily good love is often free, so make sure you snatch up that free download!

Young Jacob from Bristol aka Raleigh Ritchie teams up with Syd & Matt from The Internet on his latest “Black and Blue Point Two” EP.

It might sound a bit poppy for some of you, but we honestly enjoy the “Inside” remix a lot. Let us know if you guys are feeling it too. The EP is available as a free download by the way, so why don’t you give it a listen.

L.A.’s top notch producer Swiff D has always been on the top of our list, when it comes to straight slammin’ hip hop producers.

Swiff D was responsible for some of our favorite Pac Div productions in the past. Just a few days ago, Steve put up ten “Washington Park” instrumentals on his Soundcloud page and we thought you might enjoy hearing some of that illness!
