We recently received this amazing care package filled with goodies from Omega Supreme Records. Guess thius this is the perfect timing to let ya’ll know about Turquoise Summers who happens to be Dam-Funk’s lil’ cousin. Couldn’t miss with the name P. Riddick in the credits! This Southern California native dropped his debut full-length album, “A Touch of Turquoise”, last month on Omega Supreme Records. The vinyl is already long gone, but there’s still some cassettes available.

Ya’ll better sit tight, because Cedric is coming to touch ya’ll this summer! The Insanity EP also features long time collaborater Black Spade and Quelle Chris and is out on Insect Records. Now we don’t have to school you guys on Omar…right? This legendary Soul singer has done so much over the past decades that he needs no introduction. You all might be interested to know that Freestyle Records is releasing a new single entitled, “The Man”, containing a few interesting remixes. Both Zed Bias and Shafiq Husayn deliver a fresh rework in their own style (more on this soon), but wait there’s more. Omar re-recorded the classic love song “There’s Nothing Like This” with the one and only Pino Palladino on bass! The single will be out May 27th, but enjoy a sneak preview below.
