Co$$‘ new album, “Before I Awoke”, was highly anticipated by the whole Moovmnt gang. Now that it finally dropped, I can say I’m just a little disappointed. Perhaps I was expecting a lot, but in the end only felt like I got a little. Certainly not a bad album, but it does sound kinda dated to me at times. Best productions are from Chief and Fonetik, but I also like “Pot Ash” by Exile and “Burn It Down” by Cook Classics. Check out the album out on

Ann Arbor’s Gameboi is only 15 years old and already the kid has an EP out produced by Astronote and 14KT. I got this funny ass email from Mike Gao yesterday. He and the homie eLan dropped a sweet joint called “Withdrawn” on their Soundcloud last week and some Russian blog wrote the following.

Now Mike has no idea what kinda crack they’ve been smoking, but he let someone translate it for him and found it funny as hell. So big up to Ahhmusic for revealing that eLan is actually a cute bunny monsta called Jennifer.
